Breona Couloote

Hey! I'm Breona Couloote, a passionate video producer and content writer based in New York. With a strong background in journalism and a keen eye for social media trends, I specialize in creating compelling video content that resonates across audiences.

 

I earned my B.A. in Psychology and minored in Journalism at The City College of New York. I was honored with the Irving Rosenthal Award for Excellence in Journalism, which affirmed my passion for storytelling. I went on to pursue my M.A. in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School, specializing in health and science reporting. I focused my skills in broadcast and video production, where I created content that placed in national competitions, such as the EPPY Awards.

 

Over the years, I've worked in fast-paced newsrooms, digital media teams, and production environments where I’ve brought stories to life. Some of my previous work experiences include Inside Edition, News12 Long Island, and GLAAD. I also have bylines in Harper's Bazaar, Mott Haven Herald, and more.

 

Whether I'm pitching content ideas, writing scripts, or editing videos, I’m driven by the power of visual storytelling to inform audiences and create lasting impact.

In my spare time, I love cooking new recipes to share with friends and family. I also enjoy immersing myself in different cultures by traveling to new places.
